I mean they're a private company where they getting the billions?

They are the only place that can charge and handle letters and I believe most of it comes from that or other shipping fees.

Also the Postal Service is exempt from paying federal taxes, can borrow money at discounted rates, and can condemn and acquire private property under governmental rights of eminent domain and they do get some money from the government.
