Since I do not enjoy automatically labeling people as stupid, I will give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you are distributing music that you either own the rights to or are in the public domain.
If you somehow have the gall to "advertise" the fact that you are publicly sharing copyrighted material, may god have mercy on your soul.
You guys do realise that the RIAA is stealing from you too. They have been ordered to pay somewhere around 500 million for using their monopoly to price fix CDs.
I never said there was anything implicitly WRONG about distributing music, I hate the RIAA just as much as everyone else, in fact, I haven't bought a CD in the last 6 months.
However, there's a fine line between downloading/distributing music and ADVERTISING YOUR SITE FULL OF PIRATED MUSIC.
