Dont wast your money on a pre tested cpu its not worth it plus it takes all the fun out of overclocking.... Do you think it would be fun bragging about your overclock in these fourms when someone else tested it first..... I dont think so anyways think about it.

Outside Loop and PCNut are the best sites that sell pretested CPUs. And word on the street is that compuwiz1 in the forums sells pretested cpus so you can ask him, though i never dealed with him myself.

I agree w/ you Renob, but then I'm always skeptical on which vendor to buy the actual CPU from, seeing that different batches of CPU's yield different results and you don't really know what batch a certain store has.

Go with Steve (compuwiz1)... he's a great guy and I'm sure he'll give you a great deal.

I bought a 566@850 Celeron from Compuwiz and am about to buy a 700@933 PIII from him. His business ethics are beyond reproach. His prices are slightly higher than you could get the same cpu for from most places but they are pretested and guarenteed to run at the overclocked speed. My 566 runs at 850 at the default voltage. You will be satisfied if you deal with him.
