Where's a good place to buy a 17" CRT monitor?

Circuit City has good prices and fair policies, if you want to buy from a brick and mortar store (shipping a monitor would be killer).

Be patient and watch the hot deals forum or fatwallet.com. This thread on Fatwallet is updated pretty regularly--just make sure to check the threads where the deals originated to check the quality of the monitor, etc.

i'd recommend not getting a 17 - get something bigger - at least a 19 - this is for a CRT - they are pretty cheap now anyway

I reccomend the samsung 753 series

I'll second that; I have the 753DF myself and it's a really good monitor.
750-anything is a good monitor. I own both a 753DF(home) and a 757MB(school), both are very good monitors.

We own a Samsung 753DF which was only $89 from Dell after coupon and rebate with free shipping.

EXCELLENT 17" CRT if you're on a budget.
