I thought it wasn't legal to ship firearms through the mail anyway.

As I understand it, you have to have the gun shipped to a local gun shop. Hopefully they have some sort of cooperative arrangement where they don't charge too much of a premium.

Actually, I believe that if you are buying it from a Federally Liscensed Dealer they have to ship it to a local Lisc. Dealer and you buy it from them. Don't quote me on that though. Anyways, good luck on finding them. Shouldn't be too hard. My 2 Glocks and my Concealed Carry Permit Salute you for excersizing your Constitutional Rights.

To buy a gun online, it must be shipped to a licensed gun dealer, who then does a background check, and delivers your gun to you if/when you pass.

And of course guns can be shipped in the mail. How the heck do you think distributors get guns to individual dealers? Pony Express?

You can even have a gun in your checked baggage on a plane, so long as it's unloaded, in an approved case, and declared.
