Where'd the article discussion forum go?

I know there used to be one, but I rarely looked at it. I didn't see it on my blocked list. Was it just snuck out when I wasn't looking?

I think so...I noticed it awhile ago..but it hasn't bothered me yet

I think now that you can comment on the articles using the main site there was no point in really having the forum still around!

They got rid of it when they did the upgrade to the main page that introduced the Comments section.

I think they deleted all the posts and turned it into the PlaypeN

I'm actually kind of surprised, that the front-page article "comments" feature, isn't actually implemented in terms of a forum (well, it probably is). So why not expose that forum among the "regular" forums as well? I find it annoying to read and reply to the article comment threads, because I have to disable my local HTTP proxy and reload hte page in order to get the pop-up with the discussion. I hate pop-ups. (So therefore, exposing those discussion threads as a forum would be useful, IMHO.)
