My ASUS A7N8X Deluxe has been running quite nicely for about a year. But in the last week, my optical drives game me some trouble. Corrupted partitions had to be dealt with twice in the past week (presumably from hitting the reset switch at the wrong time while Windows was initializing).
Now, whenever I install Windows XP, Stand By and Hibernate are nowhere to be found! I'm pretty sure my BIOS is unchanged, and the last time I installed Windows XP, these features were just there out of the box.
When I go into Control Panel and Power Options, there's no Hibernate tab. I just can't find it anywhere...
Has anyone seen this before?
