My wedding is June 25,2005 and I plan on leaving to wherever it maybe on June 26. I have two free tickets to pretty much anywhere. So where would you go?

We went to Jamaica (Ocho Rios) to an all-inclusive resort on the side of the hill overlooking the coast. It was wonderful, secluded (waterfalls running through lush tropical vegitation on the hillside) and romantic.

The Enchanted Garden is the resort we stayed at. Sadly, I heard it is no longer open (that was a few years ago.....maybe they are open again??)

If I had to choose one of those... Barbados. But I'd rather not go to any of them.

Where would you suggest?

I won't suggest anything, because I think it's kind of personal. I'd rather go to Ireland, Germany, or Italy.

Italy would be my choice as well. I would suggest costa rica but i doubt you surf.

Europe would be cool, but I think (at least for what I'd want to go for) it would make a better vacation spot than honeymoon lets-stay-in-the-room-or-on-the-beach place. ;)

There's just too much I'd want to go do and see.

Good point. I'd still rather go to Europe and see the sights.

Well, I'm getting married in March and we chose none of those destinations.....we're headed to Aruba. :)

My cousin just got back from her honeymoon in St. Lucia and said it was wonderful so that's what I voted.

I voted Hawaii because I know more about it than the other places but, I've heard st. barts is really nice..so that might be the best option.... espicially since you've already been to hawaii

We're probably going to Vermont. Seems dumb to spend thousands of dollars more when it could go toward a house.

Possibly St.Johns US Virgin Islands. You'll have to arrive at St.Thomas then Ferry across to St.Johns. They have some fantastic beaches on St.Johns, have some nice ones on St.Thomas also.

One thing about the USVI you can be down there in just a couple of hours or so from Atlanta.

Depends on the type of vacation that you & your partner want.

Hawaii, Bermuda & St Barts -- I don't know much a bout it.

Barbados ? The environment is beautiful and is a highly developed touristy place. Bajan very friendly, speak English, and their rums are amazing.

St.Lucia ? The environment is much lusher than Barbados, and is more relaxing than Barbados. The rum is just as good as Bajan rum, but the people aren?t as friendly. And, they speak French.

Personally I would love to be in Bali; however it isn?t as safe as it use to be. Other destination that I would like to be is Thailand (some problem in the souther provices at the moment), and North Vietnam (Ha Noi/Hai Phong).

Since Maui is out... St.Lucia and Barbados are both good destinations.

That is where I went in August. Aruba was fun.
