Any recomendations of specific places that do alignments in the areas described above?

Not in your neck of the woods, but in the Long Beach/Mid-Cities area, Miller's on South St. in Long Beach does an excellent job when it comes to anything wheel-, or brake-related. Alignments are only $20 a pop, too.
