Knowing what I do now I'd go this time.

In fact I wouldn't mind going right now. Doubt I'd make it through boot though. They don't need overweight old fart$ falling all over themselves.

Doubtful that it would occur the same way it did in Vietnam; the exemption of college and college-bound students offset the ratio of minorities to whites drastically...

I don't think that college students are exempt from the draft anymore. Sorry kids...

My number is 120. If the draft were reinstated now, I would probably try to go in as an officer. I'm working on my PhD in chemical engineering, so I doubt they would put me on the front lines...

Yeah there are no exemptions except for physical limitations. College students are not excempt.

I'm a Canadian. Yippee! that and i'm of mennonite decent. I'm exempt from military service.. woo hoo. :) of course if it was a matter of actually defending my country, i'd consider joining. or med corps, or something.
