A job as a junior programmer that is, to start out in the business. I know monster.com and craigslist, but are there places specifically for these types of jobs? It seams that most listings are for people skilled in 5 different languages with a bachelors degree and 3+ years experience.

Dice is another option.

I have seen listings for people with minimal experience.

Also, check into your local state employment system

Don't know for you. Over here we have sites like www.seek.com.au and www.careerone.com.au. I just recently went on the job hunt and found a C++ software engineering position advertised. I'm two years out of Uni, working as an engineer, but not doing any real programming, only just started teaching myself C++ a couple of months ago. They accepted me into a graduat position (giving me over a $5k raise to what I get now).

Just keep trolling the job search sites, using keywords like programming, C++, and software (although you'll get a lot of jobs that just need you to be able to use Word and Excel with that keyword).

I am told dice.com is good because recruiters can easily search for specific skillsets and/or experience. I don't have personal experience with it, but several friends and colleagues use it.
