Where was Lorena Bobbit from?

My friends and I were talking about how crazy Texas women are. There's that one lady from Houston who drowned her five kids. Then there's that nurse in Fort Worth who ran into a homeless guy and left him to die in her garage, still on the hood of her car.

So we wondered where Lorena Bobbit was from. She's the girl who cut her husband's thing off back in 93(?).

I tried to dig up old news articles about Lorena Bobbit. Nothing! All the hits are stupid jokes and stories. We could not find a single "real" article about the incident that brought her into the headlines.

Freakin' amazing.

Anyone find an article about her?

Yup, was in Manassas. I remember talking about it a lot the next day at school :D

She must have been fed up with the traffic on 66. :p

Actually, she threw the dis-membered member out along Old Centreville Road which is about 3 miles south of where I live. Also, as another indicated, I think she was from Equador.

For the person who said that she must have been fed up with the traffic on 66: Actually, she was sick of being abused by her Ex-Marine drunk husband. Since we're on the topic of Lorena, how about John Bobbit? I remember when he used to appear on the Howard Stern show. First, he was in porno films. Then, he was arrested for abusing his then girlfriend. Finally, he became an ordained minister. I guess he hasn't been in the news for the past several years - either he's living a quiet life somewhere - or, he's dead.
