Where to take old Anti-Freeze

Autozone and Advance won't take old antifreeze so any ideas where to discard it (safely, not on the ground/down the drain)


Any leads are appreciated..

Did you know that in cold weather it is good to drink anti-freeze b/c it keeps you from freezing? True story! But if you are just going to waste it, take it to Jiffy Lube, they take most fluids for free I believe.

Ask some of the local repair shops. Some of them recycle old antifreeze right in their shop.

pour it down the kitchen sink, the waste treatment plant should be able to handle it.

read the back of the bottle, it probably says to do just that.
