I'm heading up for two days to Boston in late August. I need a hotel to stay at, preferably something that is decent/nice but not expensive. I want to stay in the downtown area, hopefully not too far from Fenway since I'm going to a game. I don't know anything about Boston? What area am I looking for?

Thanks

When I was there recently, I stayed at the Radisson on Stuart Street. It's 2 blocks south of the park right in the middle of Boston. Was like $100/night.

Stay at my house!

Anyhow, there's a new hotel they JUST built in kenmore square. I'm pretty sure it's open. it aint really downtown but it's like a hop skip and a jump from Fenway and I think kenmore is a really nice area, and it's easy to get anywhere in boston via the T.

Anyhow the hotel looks pretty sweet, it's got a pretty extravagant fascia or whatever that word for outside is :), but it all looks fake and plastery. Anyhow, if you would wanna stay there, outside of the city a bit, i could find out what the name is tonight when i go into town for the fireworks.

bye. kookoo

That new hotel in Kenmore is owned by Boston Univerisity. Why did they build it? For the parents and family of graduates? Thats a lot of money and its probably going to be expensive.

Around that area, theres a Howard Johnsons and Buckmeinster(sp?) hotel besides the BU one.
