The one near me in Dallas had Red Hat 5 box sets for $14, Corel for $20. Other distros there too...
Even better, in computer books section they had awesome manuals for $20 or less, many bundled with Red Hat, Corel, Caldera and more... 900 plus pages covering 1st installation and expalining it, all the way to programming your own C and Java apps, plus the software (incl Star Office 5.1) I'm a newbie, but fast becoming a fan - when will Microsoft release Windows, Office Professional, and Visual Studio with a how-to guide for $20?
I remember in college finding SuSE for $5 in OH, but someone in my dorm "borrowed" it and I never got it back.
Yes, I know it can be d/l for free, but your library offers many of the same books, still bundled with software! Plus it saves a heck of a lot of d/l time - esp when Star Office or Word Perfect are also bundled into the same $15 book!
I have Caldera 2.2 and redhat 6.2, not the most current but I have excellent offline refernces and can always upgrade - and I paid only $20!
(BTW, I installed red hat since it seems to be so talked-about, but will soon experiment with other flavors)
