From what I've found, furniture and guns are two things that you're almost better off getting at B&M locations due to shipping cost/restrictions.

I'd love to find a cheaper and good place also.

Well what pieces of furniture are you looking for? What price range? You can't expect to get help without at least that much. Saying that's not too much of value isn't helping yourself or anyone else trying to help you out. We need at least a baseline to go off of.

I posted a link above, but I basically need an audio cabinet of some type. I need my router & modem to sit on top and DVD, cable box & receiver inside. Would also like another shelf for a game console at some point.

Prefer dark wood, prefer no particle board. Best prices I'm seeing right now are $300-$350 shipped. Steep, but if I can't find anything else:

Choice #1: http://salestores.com/buadtomochve.html

Choice #2: http://www.target.com/gp/detai...chantID=A1VC38T7YXB528

my wife and I found that ikea.com has nice stuff at good prices....which all gets negated by the horrendous costs of shipping.

Hey, I'm looking for something like that, too. I've pretty much given up looking for something I could build probably.

I had a few suggestions but they don't meet the prices you've found.

EDIT: I read a little more closely on your Salestore.com link. That is a veneer and not a solid wood item. The places I looked up were solid woods. You might look up in your local directory to see if there are any unfinished furniture stores. You can save on shipping and by painting or staining it yourself, you can save at least $80-100 on the total cost.

Yeah the Bush stuff is usually cheap crap, but the design is exactly what I want.

Good thought on the unfinished wood thing. Thanks
