Where to sell full computer? Egay or Anand?

Hey folks,
I have a general question. Since i dont want to part the system, i was wondering where i could possibly get the most money from, egay or anand? I just want people's opinions, so if anyone has a lot of experience about this kind of stuff, please let me know. Thanx.

I would first try the FS forums, since there is no egay fee u have to pay. Plus, generally people here are more trustworthy.

Hehhee, seems like if you want to rip people off, go for Egay... but Anandtecher's are smart shoppers. =)

I've had great experiences in the FS/Trade forums...

If it has a Pentium CPU (1, 2, 3 or 4, it doesn't matter) you could just scream "INTEL PENTIUM INSIDE!!!" at the Egay people and they'd buy it like hotcakes. 🙂

IT depends. I generally find selling stuff here to be a better experience but you can get way more for stuff on egay. What you have to ask yourself is is the extra cash worth the hassel. That's what it comes down to.

How do you ship a whole computer? Do you take it apart then ship or do you have to ship parts seperatly?

I've shipped a couple before in a large box, with tons of packing peanuts 🙂 It worked pretty well and the buyer got it in one working piece. Even more efficient would be fitted styrofoam or foam but that's often hard to come by to fit a specific size.
