Where to put temperature sensors?

I just ordered this. It has 2 sensors. Temps I would want are CPU, GPU, and Case Temp.
1. Where should i put them and how should i attach them for CPU and GPU temps? My gpu is going to have a blue orb attached with artic silver adhesive on the top and the default hsf with thermal tape on the bottom. My cpu is slot A and has a Golden Orb attached with clips and thermal grease.
2. What's the best place for a sensor to be for case temperature?
 
CPU sensors usually go on the side of the heatsink (unless you're game and want to file away part of the socket), GPU sensors usually go on the back of the card, directly under the GPU, and case sensors would usually go as hig as you can get them, because hot air rises
