Where to put second drive

I have an Enlight 7237 case and it only has spots for 3 - 3.5inch drives, I have a 60 gig drive and a floppy in the top and bottom ones. I am getting a second 60 gig drive this week and don't want to put all three drive on top of eachother because of heat. SHould I just take out the floppy or is there somewhere else I can stick my second drive...........besides my @ss funny guy.

I like you have same situation and I decided long time ago to put the FDD away...Unless I am flashing a mobo with a bios I never need or use it....

The above is the right answer if you need the FDD, cause the FDD generates virtually no heat cause it is rare it is used for an extended period of time....

However the open space between the top drive and the lower drive will help let the heat escape and get pulled out...

Also put newer larger drives at the bottom or your main drive...the tend to generate more heat from the more use...

Below the 3.5" drive cage usually has a bracket for you to mount another HDD up-side-down. This one can benefit the air flow from the intake case fan. Or you can put it on the top of 5.25" drive bay.
HDD-FDD-HDD is not a good idea unless you run out of room.

Another option is an external Hard drive. More expensive though.

I already got the drive. There is also no place to put the drive upside down under the 3.5" drive box, and it can't go in the top 5.5" slot.

Can I get those at a local Office Max?

why not get something like THIS that will keep your new drive cool, AND give you the brackets for mounting.

I think my local Compusa had something like this as well.

I don't think Office Max carries that sort of thing, but I'd try CompUSA. (I bought some recently at MicroCenter, but they only have a handful of locations around the country.) Or find a small local "screwdriver shop" that builds PCs, since a lot of them also sell parts.
