Where to put in/out fans?

I own an In-Win Q500 case. I have a white plastic thing to hold a fan in front, and I have areas for fans on the bottom back and top back. I've also put two 80mm fans on the side. Which direction should each fan blow to create the best airflow?

P.S. How do I get that plastic thing off to install a fan in anyway 🙁 ?

Well, the starting point is that heat rises. That should place the lower front fan sucking cool floor level air into the case and the back top fan blowing it out. That should create a reasonable air flow across the board and CPU. Make sure that your power supply is also blowing air out.

Now interestingly enough, I just got through playing with my fans(I've got that exact configuration) and found that with the side cover off I got almost a 5deg C drop in CPU temp. I started wondering if I was blowing air past the CPU fan rather than getting it through the fan(I've already upped the standard fan on my Taisol to a 60mm 36cfm) Just for kicks I took a 80mm fan with the 4pin connector and cable-tied it to the bottom of the power supply so it was blowing air straight at the CPU fan. I'm now running 36.2 idle instead of 39!

Usually there's little plastic fingers on either the top/side that you squeeze down/in to release it.
