Where to put fans for best cooling? And which direction?

I'm getting a fong kai 320, and it comes with the front and rear fans. The front is going to have a 120, while the rear i think has an 80. I'm looking to add more fans and i'm wondering where i should place them? I've seen such places as 3dcool, and coolerguys, as to where they set their fans, but i'm wondering which fans blow in, and which ones blow out? Also, are the slot fans any good for the rear of your computer? those put out some serious air, but i'm wondering if they are worth it? Thanks a bunch.

Slot Fans claim 42cfm, but independant tests have failed to confirm this.

As far as fan direction, have your back(near the cpu) fan exhaust air, and the front fan intake air.
