Hi, can anyone tell me which website is best for printing anything bigger than 8x10"? I am looking for somewhere that will print my photo as is instead of trying to alter the color like snapfish does. Thanks!!

Website?
No, I dont like doing prints online. I prefer to go to Kinkos. That way if they screw up, I can tell them right there on the spot. Yes, they charge a lot, but I dont print out very much anyway.

I've only printed out a dozen 8x10's over the past year. The rest I do with my cheap color laser at home on 8.5x11 and the girls cant tell the difference.

kinkos? ugh... I'd never go there for anything accurate.

whcc is suppose to be rated pretty well, as is mpix.

I know some places will give you the printer color profile, too, but not sure about these two.

I've heard good things about this site though I haven't used them personally so I can't tell you if they're good or not. I read about them I think on both POTN and SA's Photography Forums.

I don't know if they try to modify/play with your color balance, or if the size is what you're looking for. Their price for what they offer is all I really saw to be honest and I've bookmarked them in case I ever wanted cheap poster size prints. I figured if that time came I'd give them a shot.

$2 - 18x24 Poster Prints
http://www.shortrunposters.com/

They do brand their name on the back of the print at that price, but offer to remove it for $2 more.

The cheap poster printing sites don't often have the best color accuracy, and usually print at somewhat lower DPI's.

That said, if you're just looking to spruce up a cubicle, office, garage, or dorm room, you can't go wrong at those prices.

Yea, again since I didn't order from them I can't attest to their accuracy. I saw pictures of the prints someone had ordered on SA but their search never works and I can't find it. They looked pretty nice, better than I would have expected for 2 bucks. Again though, not sure on the quality being what you're looking for ;)

Also : For those wondering "what's the catch" - it's shipping, both good and bad. Posters are as low as 2 bucks, but they charge ten bucks flat for shipping regardless of how many you want. If you're ordering a ton neat, but if you just want to try them out.. well.. you better order a decent number of pictures (hence the reason I haven't tried them out yet).

It's times like this that makes me appreciate my photography school! I pay one fee (160) per semester, and I am able to take as many classes as I want! And the best part is, I get to print as much as I want, up to a 30"x50" print!!! We're talking chromira prints!
