Where to post my hardware reviews?

Why doesn't Anandtech get a user-reviews forum?

JUST user-reviews and then comments on each review, I think that'd be an EXCELLENT way for me to contribute. Getting the views of the hardcore oc'ers, silent-computing folks, and your general computer user would be an excellent addition to Anandtech.

Yeah, but why not have a forum for them?

Within a day they're eaten alive by posts (even searching)... atleast that's what I've noticed whenever anyone does something similar.

I just made my own site.

That's what I was thinking of doing... but I'm afriad no one will benefit from it, and that'll be a bit of trouble.

I'm a web designer/scripter as a hobby, so it'd be kinda fun but useless.

then why bother if it will be useless? Link to it in your sig if you want. Then you can refer people to it.

don't post the reviews in OT then. post them in general hardware, software/apps, peripherals or the other specific forums. they dont get as much traffic, but the responses you get will be more mature, on-topic and interesting.

Who said I'd post the reviews in OT, that's obviously the wrong place for them. Do you disagree with this idea?

Evadman, I was referring to making a site being useless, making a new category for this kind of stuff would be EXCELLENT, just search for the project you want and come up with a few honest reviews.

EDIT- - out for the night, I'll be back to support this idea tomorrow 🙂

I have a computar forum and reviews would be appreciated. You could link them here too... I got bandwidth to spare and a bunch of AT partners/friends at both sites so it's all good. 🙂

If you really wanna get technical and make up html pages and all that I can still host them. 😉

Just throwing that out there...

Thank you very much CrazyFool, I'll post my reviews at your site.

I have my own hosting though, so no need to worry about that 🙂.

Why dont you bring it up in Forum Issues and see if you can get anything started. I'm not sure if it could be a conflict of interest if your reviews clash with Anandtech's revews
