I have an Asus p5q pro that has 4 fan connectors: cpu; power supply; and 2 chassis. My case is a Lian Li pc-60b plus II which has 4 fans: an 80mm rear intake; an 80mm top exhaust; an 120mm front intake and a 120mm side exhaust. My question is which of these fans should I connect to the chassis fan connectors. Also I have the corsair fan blower for my ram which I'm not going to use but if I did how would I then arrange them? Thanks

Man, I dislike weird fan arrangements intensely. I suppose you could parallel the two 80s and hook to one chassis connector and parallel the 120s on the other (assuming neither of the pairs need more than 0.5 amp each pair - add the amperage of the two fans together). Resellers have fan Ys out there - only one of each pair's speed sensing wires should be connected when on a Y.

The chassy fan connector is gennerally used by the front intake fan but the case fans should have molex connectors not the 3/4pin motherboard connectors. If the case does need the mothrboard connectors then you'll want to get the 3 pin to molex adapter and connect the fans dirrectly to the PSU. If you use the RAM fans then i'd plug them into the chassy connection. Generally the only fans i have connected tot eh motherboard are the CPU and NB fans.
