Where to locate Beta ASUS Bios?

I have looked on the ASUS website for the Beta BIOS for the P5B and can not locate it. I have the current one 0405, but would like the 0901.

Anyone have a link for me?

Call Asus, they will e-mail it to you.

I've had to be a registered and verified member at Asus's support before I could download the BIOS - this entails registering for an account and registering your mobo.

Aside from that, no. I heard 0304 was released for my M2N-E but, now they've pulled it and the 0302 Beta down. Asus's support site is weird. You may try the forum specific to your mobo @ Asus...

EDIT: myocardia is dead-on - don't e-mail them unless you enjoy wasting your time - call them if you need to contact them.

I thought I had seen it at a certain time on their site, but thought I didn't want to run the BETA. Now that I am seeing that the people who are OCing are using it, I want to grab it and see if I get better performance.

There isn't a special "Beta" section?

I doubt all those people called ASUS for the BIOS.

I would imagine that one of them called Asus, got it, and gave it to the rest. If you'd just give us the exact motherboard you've got, we could give you the download link for it.

Is this for the P5B or the P5B-Deluxe? Is there a beta bios for the p5b-deluxe?

I ask because 0405 is a P5B-D version number, not one for the P5B Vanilla. Where did you hear about this new BIOS?

Sorry that I did not mention the board I have. It is a P5B Deluxe/WiFi.

I saw the info about the BIOS over on HardOCP's list of successful C2D overclocks.

Well, I'm not sure which BIOS you're looking for, but the bottom right-hand side of this page has 5 or 6: link. BTW, if you happen to know the version of the BIOS, that would help finding it.

edit: Have you tried 0507?

My first post says I am looking for the 0901 version of the BIOS. I believe that is the latest Beta. The link you gave seems to be offering up a pretty old BIOS for the P5B. I am at 0405, and the latest they have listed there is 0211.

Sorry, man, my memory is really short. Here's the link: 0702 & 0901.

edit: That BIOS isn't for your motherboard. The latest for your board is the one I linked to earlier, the 0405.

I'm not seeing it on that site, myocardia. He it asking for the 0901 BIOS for the P5B Deluxe boards.

Well, now that I've done all of the research he should have done for himself, it turns out that the BIOS he needs is the 0801, not the 0901.
