Where to live near bascom palmer in Miami?

Anyone here from miami or can tell me what are good neighborhoods and what are bad neighborhoods in miami around the medical center and bascom palmer or UF? Maybe circle some areas on mapquest made pdf or something?
Need to find a place to live for 2.5 months. Thanks.
