Where to install Soyo Dragon + Sound Connectors

Ok, I have the little piece from the SOyo Dragon + that has the digital ins/outs, and some other connecters, yet do to its size, I can find nowhere to install this in my case? It looks like it could possibly fit if I turned it upside down and tried to jam it in where the pci cards go. Is this right? thanks

You are exactly right. You place it in an open slot just like you would a PCI card.

BTW, great choice on the mobo. I just got my Dragon+ running last night and all I can say is WOW. I can't believe there is that much difference over my 8K7A! Hope your system goes together just as well.

It should screw in place just like a slot cover.

Damn Newegg just got around to boxing my mobo up today (ordered Mon. nite) meaning I may not get it for Christmas.🙁

Whoa! I just checked my order page at Newegg and they've upgraded my shipping to 2Day from the Saver I had. Maybe it's because they took too long to get this going. Who knows? It's $10 and I may have this by the holiday!

The oupost deal for 350 with the XP1800 is a great deal it took me several times to get XP to install but it finally did great mb.
Windows XP is great for booting up times and the more you use it the faster it gets to a degree but on the other hand it seems to take longer to shut down .

I realize XP boot times are great, but I also heard that Dragon+ boot times are longer than any other motherboard. I was checking because I never got a positive confirmation on this.

I also heard that somewhere else, but no confirmation. Do you know how much longer does it supposedly takes? What's the benchmark? I was thinking in getting a Dragon+, but if boot time is an issue then I'm not so sure.....

Yes it does takes around 20 to 30 seconds to POST! I really really hate this feature too. I don't know why they don't fix this thing.
This was my main reason for not getting the second board. Other than that it is excellent board.
