im still amazed people download and store porn

its not like its hard to find on the internet and simply stream
higher quality, no need to worry about the streaming site taking down your favorite clips, there for you if your internet goes down (or you're using a heavily restricted wifi)

it's not like storage is expensive.

This is true. But pr0n get's rather boring if you are watching the same clips over and over. When I load up my fav streaming site I almost always look for something new. Is quality Gay pr0n harder to find? Not that quality straight pr0n is easy to find.

the handful of streaming sites that I frequent are all either cheap webcams in a dark room with poor/no sound or 15 second "preview" clips.

sometimes I'm in the mood for badly produced amature porn and sometimes a really great clip shows up, but even then, I yank the clip onto my hard drive to save in case it gets deleted from the streaming site.

I probably download 3-4 videos/week, between torrents and downloading stuff from streaming sites, and just watch them on shuffle when I'm not in the mood for anything specific.

Also trim your vidz to 10mins and upload em to youtube and set as PRIVATE. Now you can stream em anywhere, any device.

It's more about deciding what's really good and saving it locally for travel or internet outages. You don't watch it over and over, you just save it for a rainy day.

*Shakes head* at all the freaks in this thread and their "collections". Even worse is the OP and his "inappropriate" material.

As far as truecrypt is concerned, assuming it is inappropriate, upon discovery of encryption you will be compelled to provide a key. Failure to do so will lead to an obstruction charge.

Either way, you are going down.

Keep it in your pants.

Who cares really, I have mine in a folder called stuff in my downloads folder

Renaming and stuff is dumb and time consuming, you'd thaw out before you got a video up

Truecrypt will be the easiest way

Create separate partition, don't mount it by default. Mount it every time you need to browse :p
