I need help with cross-compilers and such....
I dont really know what a cross-compiler does.
This is what I think it does... makes object code for another machine other than the host machine from a High-Level Language .
Is this right?
And then also.... I want to have assembly files for a MIPS architecture from C programs.. what the hell do i need to do, what cross compiler do i use.. how do i use it?
any help would be greatly appreciated... any links would also be greatly apprecaited...
