I used to get demos from 3dfiles.com, but they got swallowed a while back, and I dropped off the gaming front for quite awhile.. my card is a VooDoo3 2000

So, now i'm trying to get a few demos to toy with and am finding out that everything is subscription based where you have to supply your mothers-mothers maiden name and have 3 non-related technical references just to get a download!

So, wheres the place to go-- if any?

I used to get them from GameSpot but they are looking for cash now too.

The best thing I have found (and it works great) is to type the name of the game followed by "demo" at google. You will get many sites.

Just did it tonight for F1 2002 demo as a matter of fact. (pretty decent demo and great graphics too)

right on! I'll have to give that a look-see

Good to see that it's not just me, and that it has gotten harder to get free stuff... it's a shame though
