Where to go this winter?

I've been trying to plan a trip to Europe for December - January, probably first flying into London from Los Angeles and then going across France, maybe to Greece, and then to Turkey and possibly Egypt too - all within the span of 3-4 weeks.

But.. there are two things that I'm trying to get around - limited budget, and getting away from cold weather (relatively to Europe, at least). Taking only the weather in account, it looks like I'm SOL as Cairo, Egypt looks like the only place that has decent weather around that area. So I don't really know how to plan this anymore..

Thoughts?

are you going in winter due to lower air fare?

if so, then you will have cold weather

if you want it warmer, you need to pay more $ and go in summer

if you just have to go at that time due to work/whatever , then maybe you can go somewhere else, like central america
