About $150

Where the hell are you finding a cruise for $450? And $150 will get you about 20 drinks...3/day. That won't be much "Fun".

I'd say your estimates are a little high...so i'm thinking in terms of 4/day :)heh

Tips! 3/day :)

furiously bashes head on wall and ends thread crapping.

On topic though, just go for the cruise but make sure you plan enough money to enjoy it once you're on the ship.

You aren't looking hard enough, or from a different airport. Airfare is $550-$600 from PHL, housing is dirt-ass cheap at hostels.

My roommate(who would be attending) has, he says get drunk during the day at the ports for cheaper.

Then you can hope they let your drunk ass back on the boat. They don't let you bring your own yummy yum yum drinks on board unless you plan on paying a surcharge/bottle.

I wouldn't be bringing any bottles on board, they'd be in my blood already. He's done this before.

I'm serious they might not let you back on if they think you are to drunk. If you take it easy you'll be alright.
I'm a college kid...I do this every day....I can fake sober pretty well, unless they actually bust out a breathalyzer I'll be fine.

I've checked the two near here (Indianapolis and Louisville) and the prices are about the same :( Some friends and I were thinking about going to Ireland for spring break this year (next year technically) and after airfare, lodging, food, drinks, and one or two hundred extra it was going to be around $1200-$1300.

I'm not saying you can't look sober. I'm just saying be careful. Some people get nuts and totally out of control no matter what they say. Nor do they care to try and even act sober.

That's still cheap compared to what i'm looking at. I'm probably going with an all inclusive in Jamica though, much less hassel.
