Where to go for good steak in SoCal (orange county) area?

Outback? A non-chain steakhouse is likely to be kind of pricey, especially in OC.

There was that one steakhouse on Trask and Magnolia (behind the In-N-Out) that was in this old manor.

Right next to the 22 fwy, it was really cheap too... $8.95 for sirloin steak, potatoes, salad, and drink, $10-12 for a filet mignon a la carte.

Haven't been there in a while, dunno if it's still open. You can't wear a tie in there so there were a bunch of ties nailed to the wall in the entrance.

Anybody know which steakhouse this is?

TGIF by South Coast, get the Ribeye special.

Morton's steakhouse by south coast , get the filet mignon with the bearnaise sauce.

Javier's Cantina & Grill in Irvine spectrum, get the filet mignon & lobster tail (good shiet).
