Where to go for Christmas? California, Mexico or Cuba?

I want to go to Mexico (Cancun, Veradero) or Cuba for a week long holiday. My girlfriend has never been in the USA and wants to go to Disneyland (She's 23). I went about 2 years ago with family so FL is out of the question.

CA has a Disney theme park, and she's fine with that. I've never been to CA, so I'd want to go, but I figure a holiday should be in some exotic location, not going to a city even bigger than mine.

If I wasn't a US citizen, I would love to see Cuba.

I see no reason to skip DisneyWorld if she has never been there.

Cancun is garbage. Not sure about Veradura. If you are over 21, there's nothing that you can do in Cancun that you can't do in the US.

My friends who have been there tell me that once you've been to DisneyWorld in Orlando, the one in California is a disappointment. But there are a lot of great things to see in California. I wouldn't rule it out, I just wouldn't go there just for DisneyLand. If you happen to go to the LA area, it's worth stopping by, but probaby not worth going out of your way.

I'm 20 and she's 23, so unfortunately drinking only works up here in Canada or south of the border.

Would LA really be worth it then?
