Where to go around Dublin/Pleasanton area for dinner?

My cousin is in town for training and each of his coworkers (8 of them) has $45 for food, leaving $360 for 9 people (including me..and assuming they're all coming). Where should we go then? I was thinking Cheesecake Factory but was wondering if anyone else had suggestions..

There is a nice steak place on San Ramon Rd in Dublin called McCormacks. It's a little pricey, but if they are spending $45 each it should fit in okay.

You could also go into downtown pleasanton on Main St. Blue Agave is a nice Mexican food place.

Edit: should read "Blue Agave restaurant is a nice Mexican food place. It is on Main St. in downtown Pleasanton.

2nd McCormacks

The problem with this area is its all Strip-Mall. There isnt many decent non-chain places to eat left.

Me like steak. Ruth's Chris in Walnut Creek 🙂

After that, work your way down. McNamara's in Dublin and Cattlemens in Livermore.

*gag* oh hell no!!! I've eaten there and it's terrible. Only go if you hate your guests.

Oakland would be the closest for decent chinese food. Legendary Palace, 708 Franklin. Restaurant Peony, Pacific Renaissance plaza.
