I built my car mp3 player box out of wood, and I want to cover it with that grey carpet. It's not regular carpet is it? Where can I find the stuff?

Btw, the box is 8x8x8, but it looks much bigger in the pic because the motherboard is only 6.5x6.5.

Autozone, Wal-Mart, car stereo place.

The cheapest that I found was at Wal-Mart. But it's not worth shopping around for.

Get a bottle of acetone or something and a rag. When you glue the fabric down, use the rag and sort of fluff up the places where the edges of your carpeting meet. It helps to hide it.

When I built a sub box for my friend we picked it up at a local car audio shop. You can get carpet that is similar, but not as nice at places like Menards and Lowes. Use the spray adhesive to put it on, it works pretty nice.

Go to a car audio store not just a car store. Home Depot actualy sells something similar, its a little thicker but more durable and wont fuzz up, and its like 10x cheaper then buying it from an audio store. To attach it just use some adhesive spray.
