I was wondering if someone could help me out and tell me a good place to get some ramsinks at. I would like to keep my video card a bit cooler. Thanks for the Help!!

I made one's for my card out of a P2 heatsink. Using a hacksaw, I got enough for the eight chips and even cut a small one for the top of the card,(right above the GPU's core).

I just get standard heatsinks for about 25-50 cents apiece from electronics catalogs.
Hosfelt and Electronic Goldmine are two of my favorites. Hosfelt's takes about 1-2 months to give you a catalog after you request one; very nice selection overall though.

...while we're on this topic, what's the best way to attach heatsinks to ICs w/ standard materials? (that I'd be able to pick up locally)

I have a G400 that I fixed that I have the heatsink stuck on with some thermal paste in the middle and a dot of super glue on each corner. And I have a bunch of 486 heatsinks whose fan had died as well as a PPro and P2 heatsink w/o fans that could make good chipset coolers and I'm in the mood for some modding again 🙂
