I just acquired 2 untested Metrobook II laptops that are complete except for AC Adapter and HD. My intention is to (hopefully) combine the parts from both (one has a cracked LCD) into one good one, and either part out the other, or keep it for spare parts. My problem is that this computer takes a strange AC adapter with a 4 prong plug, and I can't find a HD caddy anywhere.
Does anyone know where I could get these parts, or better yet, have any laying about that they want to sell? Or what other models used identical parts so I could maybe look for those? Almost nothing comes up when I do a search for Metrobook, except for battery sites. Any help/insight is appreciated!
