Where to get No CD cracks?

A million sites are out there on the web, but are any trustworthy? Can I download without worrying about a virus or whatever?

Once you have the file, how does it work?

Just scan the file first before you install. Or stick to sites like Megagames.com that are well known. These carcks are very handy so you dont have to keep getting the dang cd out everytime you want to play a game. I like to use these so that I can put the CD away in a safe place so I am not tempted to jsut let sit on top of the desk or computer. I scratch too many cds that way 🙂

Go here. Find the game whose .EXE file you want to modify with the no-CD crack, download the appropriate game patch update, download the crack for that patch version of the game, run the patch update, and run the no-CD patch. They almost always contain a concise ReadMe file with them, so they'll tell you how to install the crack.

I crack most of my LEGAL games because it's a friggin' drag to have to dig up the CD for the stupid check.
