Looking to buy inexpensive but custom made business cards. I know of a good place to get 250 for free with a premade design (just pay S&H)... vistaprint but really want them custom made. :)

My business was in the paper today so I got a lot of calls and business today and for a few more days and everyone was so ecstatic about the service and results that they said they'll be telling their friends. One thing they all wanted that I didn't have though, was business cards! :Q

By the way, I do computer repair, hw/sw installations, networking, maintenance, programming, etc. with a partner in this. :)

Dare I post the URL? I only have 6GB of transfer/month so I don't want to get hammered by the AT effect...

If you're popular *now*, it might be worth your while to have a small batch of vistaprint cards on hand so that you have *something* to give out to people while you wait for your beautiful custom cards to come in.

Just a suggestion...

I'm not sure you'd get hammered tho seeing how so many people here pride themselves on do everything themselves. :)

You might put a link in your sig tho so people can check it out when you post.

Why not print your own with Microsoft Publisher? If your service and business is good enough, that will speak for itself. Extra money spent on BCards could be spent on card stock you could print up yourself. Or try your local printing company or Staples.

No, it would get hammered by the random interested people. I only do local work anyway, so almost no one here would be able to hire me anyway. :)

Oh yeah, great idea Tripleshot! I think I'll print some up and then drop by the customers houses who i've worked on a leave a few with them. A few...one for them, a few for them to give out when recommending us. ;)

How many lines/colors do you want on your cards, and is there a custom logo? Max/Depot/Staples will do them. A black ink/white paper (max) 9 line card will run $18.99, card with custom logo and as many lines as you want $24.99 (black/white)

when we did business cards, you'd end up spending about $300 for 500 cards. That includes professional printing and cutting, professional design services, and everything done for you. All you'd do was meet with the designer, tell them what you wanted, and then review the card until you were happy with it, and then they were delivered to your office.

I don't do graphic design anymore, though.

I just need them printed, my friend is a graphics designer and offered to do the design. He rocks. :)
