So I had a Linksys Network in a Box networking system which was unused, and decided to give it to a guy I knew going to college. However I lost the floppy that came with it, so I went over to Linksys in hopes of d/ling the drivers, but it's not listed there. Under the products page it's listed and all, but not under Driver Downloads.

Any ideas?

well GB seeing how you're on the internet..... why not go to www.linksys.com
go to their product search and try and find it that way.... they should have the drivers, and if it's for a NIC any generic driver should work for that.

The kits use various versions of the LNE100TX NIC. Drivers are available on the Linksys site. There are different drivers for each version, though, so make sure you get the right ones.

Guys, I think he said he's already been there, unless he actually went to Linksys's office and wandered around looking for drivers :D

Win2k/XP/ME will probably have drivers for the network card already present. strange that they do not have them on their site, I had that kit but I never got newer drivers.

Linksys could have stretched to giving a floppy driver disk for each card rather than 1 between the 2. Nice peiece of kit though. Try doing a search on the web rather than just their site?

GoldenBear, you can't link directly to the specific driver page, but if you go to this page and choose the model #, then click on Get the Driver you'll be taken to a page that lists the driver specific to the chipset on your card. There are seven different options, so id the chipset on your card, then get the appropriate driver.

Yes, I've tried that, but my kit isn't listed there. It's a fensk05, which is listed in the support pages, but not the drivers page..

It looks like they do put the LNE100TX in the Network kits... Look at the chips on the Network Card... Do you see LNE100TX anywhere? It should be on there (My job has a couple of them).... If you will type everything that is written on the chips, I'll find the drivers and put a link to them for you.....
