where to get desktop backgrounds?

DeviantArt? That's where I always go. Check out Ice9Tech's page, they have some pretty sweet wallpapers.

I suggest checking out the minimalist section, if you're that kind of guy. So good stuff in there, but you really have to weed through the stuff.

Good program to cycle thru desktop pics?

webshots

does it cycle through your own pictures as well?

edit: found a program on the dieselstation website, in the software section, it's called WallpaperTray.

It rotates your own wallpapers as well...😀

Trying this thing right now. Looks promising.

Only three complaints:
I'd like to set directories
There's a single spelling mistake (clock, instead of click)
Help files weren't created for the language I installed for, and would like the english version. Either that, or no help file, since I don't think I'll be using it anyways.

edit: I mentioned the last item because there was an error when I started the program the first time.

I uninstalled it.... I couldn't select much files at once before the program said too much pictures selected and shuts down :| Only if I could select directories. And the file paths seemed to have gotten screwed up too.

Can you get a guess on how many pictures you had selected?
