i've been searchin the net and found some stuff, but i want to download some new ddr songs and dance steps to use with stepmania. i'm also looking for announcer voices and dancer characters

thanks in advance!

That pad is really cheap looking. Lik-Sang doesn't have shipping sites in the US AFAIK, so shipping will be pretty high. At that price point, you're best off buying something on eBay.

Last I checked (just about a year ago), the popular DDR forums were running their own BT trackers.

I ended up building my own pad. Its far better than anything you can find on the net, and feels very close to the arcade. And best of all, it only cost about $100 total.

I did the same, but I was unable to transport it when moving, and it is currently sitting in another state. Cost me around $130, took me 2.5 weeks (perfectionist and "improving" the design while building), measures 36" x 33", and weighs 38lbs.

What kind of "games" are there which work with the original Playstation? Do most PS2 DDR type things work with the PSOne as well, or not?
<-- thinking of picking up a cheap PS for DDR

DDR USA, DDR Konamix, DDR Disney Mix are the 3 US releases I know of. DDR USA is terrible, Konamix is pretty good, but doesn't have enough songs. Haven't played the Disney Mix. Unless you're really on a budget, there are better solutions: use a console you already own (XBOX), hook up a computer to the TV, or put down the cash on a PS2.

The controllers are compatible with both, AFAIK.
