I've always loved that Mexican/spanish guitar music. Just a guitar with beautiful, usually indivudally plucked sounds. Any advice on composers, performers?

If any of you mention that idiot who sells a how-to on late nate TV, you get a punch in the face. :)

Go rent el mariachi? Actually, I do love that style as well, though I have little or none on my server right now.

I don't know about spanish, but Nick Drake is easily one of the most amazing classical guitarists ever.

Check out CHristopher Parkening: "In the Spanish Style" and "Romanza"

Andre Segovia has also managed to pluck out a Spanish piece or two (note: tongue-in-cheek) Segovia was one of the world's finest, he was Spanish (I believe), and has turned out some incredible pieces in the Spanish Style.

Good Luck
