Where to get Case Guts?

I'm thinking about building a case w/ fiberglass/Bondo and I'm wondering where can I find just the ATX mounting plate for the mobo, and switches, on/off, & reset. (Aside from scavenging another case).

I want to give this thing a really organic shape, like a nautilus shell, and have a large backlit polyester/acrylic eye of sauron on the side. Any suggestions about mounting brackets or airflow considerations would be appreciated.

 
Just cannibalize an old ATX case, or buy one of those cheapass $20 cases just for the mounting plate. Or use an existing one to build your own; thread screwholes into some plate aluminum based on the template.
