Where to get an owner's manual for a car and how much would it normally cost?

Anyone know where you can get owner's manuals for cars? I've checked eBay and found one, but I don't know if it's a good price or not. One can probably be purchased from a dealership, right? Anyone ever had to do that? How much did it cost?

i would imagine it depends from car to car. You might as well get the repair/shop manual, its lote more usefull than the owners manual. (chances are you know how to control your own car...)

being a dealership it should cost no less than $275....

you could, of course, call and ask the dealership how much it is before you buy it.

You didn't state what year or make the vehicle is.
If it's 7 years old or newer, go to your local dealer, if it is older, go search your local bone yards.

If it's a Ford Motor Company vehicle I might be able to get it in pdf format, or at least get you specific information.

Just bought one from a Nissan dealer for $16.00.

Also have found them online in PDF format in various places...

If it's a make/model of car that's commonly found in junkyards, you could find one there very easily. Hell, the yard owner would probably give it to you.

I purchased a shop manual off ebay for like $30 shipped. Very detailed manual and much better than a Haynes, etc.

yeah the shop manual for the Z cost me about $90

Two years ago when I still had my '88 Accord I was able to order a re-print for $25. A toll-free call to Honda of America got the information of who to call to get the re-print.

You can get them on ebay, but you can usually get them from dealers for _cheaper_.
