Me and my fiance are looking to get simple sterling silver rings, just a flat band most likely something thicker/flatter/more manly for me and either the same but thinner for her or possibly a rounded one for her. We want to have them engraved with something like 'forever, jittles' or somethin like that (you get the point). Does anybody know of a place online or in the Austin, TX area or in the San Luis Obispo, CA area where we could get these.

Keep in mind the reason we want sterling silver is because it isn't expensive.

any ideas would be way cool.

Any jeweler can sell you this. though it doesn't hurt to shop around a bit as some jewelers have bigger house payments than others.

I suggest you get a comfort fit on your ring. they round the edges a bit so that the ring doesnt rip your knuckle off if you snag it or something.

My suggestion is to save up til you can at the very least afford white gold. I know white gold is cheaper than regular gold but I am not sure how much. The problem is sterling silver tends to tarnish quite a bit. The more sulfur you have in your system the more it tends to happen, I read.

Our wedding bands cost about $70 each.. white gold... super cheap...:D

We bought them on the way home from the courthouse :p

(My wife has since replaced hers with something nicer... but I'm happy with the same one...)
