Hello ,

I recently turned 18 , and considering getting new credit card ( I already have one, but it's credit limit is hilarous) , so what's the good place to get a credit card with good credit line and without any annual/monthly/membership fees ?

Thanks,

I would stay away for CREDIT CARDS. ESPECIALLY at your age. They have a way of working their way into your life and its hard to get out from under. I would stay with the low limit card. In the long run you'll be glad. No debt makes ANTON a happy boy.

Get the Amex Student card. I think the credit limit is $800 or something. I don't think as a student you can handle a larger credit line responsibly. You should pay it off every month. I think credit cards are more for convenience then for the credit line.
But you get nice travel deals on Continental.

If you can't controll yourself in general than you might want to avoid them. If you can control yourself then look into citibank or nextcard, I've liked them both and they tend to be rated highly.

as far as I can see myself , I can control myself with credit cards, because I use my parents' credit card with $5,000 limit on it, already a year , and nobody else uses it , and I'm fine so far ; ) ... just wanted to get my own credit card

any of the "student" based cards will usually start you off @ $500... live with it for a year or so and you can start asking for higher limits if you proved yourself over the 1st year...

citibank is prolly the best place to get a student card. capital one is okay.

have your parents put you as an authorized user of their accounts and give the bank your social. In about 3 months you'll have some credit (even though its AU) and then get a decent card.
