My Compaq Presario 1247 Laptop's ac adapter does not work anymore, and I need a new one, can anyone help me where to find one? Ive looked around and didnt come up with anything, thanks.
 
You sure it's the adapter? is it the type with a LED?

I have seen many a CPQ. lappy with the internal power port cracked off the board

You should be able to pick up a aftermarket adapter at BestBuy or Compusa
 
yep its the adapter, the led light comes on, then goes right back, the wires in it are broke, prob from stepping on it... oops.
