Where to find the M5 Stick Shift videos?

Last week my friend bought a MKIV Turbo Supra (1998). Yes - he is rich 😉

I visited him last night and gave the car a go and all I can say is "Damn" :Q. That car just goes, and goes, and goes 😀

Sorry - no pics - it was like 9PM.

Anyway - he has been driving stick for some time, but he is no pro. I wanted to share those videos with him with the guy on the M5 teaching some neat stuff about driving stick shift.

I found the site standardshift.com, but that just links to the small videos on google, which are not the full version.

Any help is appreciated.

the ones on standardshift.com are the only ones i know about except before they used to link to the actual videos instead of to video.google

you can still download the ones from video.google using keepvid.com

Let me tell you that those videos didnt help me at all. I already knew how to heel toe but executing it is whats hard. If your friend wants to "be a pro", then he needs to learn by practicing it not by watching someone else do it.

Those videos were pretty bad.

Nobody shifts like he does on a daily basis, and if I find someone that does, I will laugh at his face.
There is no need to stomp on the clutch and jam the shifter into gear as agressively as he does.
I'm not saying his technique is wrong, but I wouldn't follow his example.

I believe the idea of those videos was to show people how to drive for "performance" and not lessons for Timmy NoobCheese on sissy-footing it to school in Daddy's Corolla. Ergo, the clutch-stomping, gear-slamming goodness. 😀
